He was dressed all in red velvet and splendidly tall. His blonde hair was parted in the middle in a saintly fashion and combed richly down to his shoulders where it broke over his cloak in lustrous curls. He had a smooth forehead without a line to it, and high straight golden eyebrows dark enough to give his face a clear, determined look. His lashes curled like dark golden threads from his eyelids. And when he smiled, his lips were flushed suddenly with a pale immediate color that made their full careful shape all the more visible.
I knew him. I spoke to him. I could have never seen such miracles in the face of anyone else.
Wow, that's amazing! He looks a bit young for Marius, in my opinion, but nonetheless, this is awesome!

Hey, you! Yes, you. Are you looking for a good roleplay community with literate members and an original plotline? Well, then you should check out Styx [link] a modern Greek Mythology roleplay.
Regarding Marius’ visual age … within the various books of the Vampire Chronicles, Anne Rice describes Marius as having been a man in the prime of life immediately prior to his death and resurrection as a vampire. She has written that the passing centuries of immortality had eventually erased any of the natural lines of age from his face. She further noted that his skin had become as taut, smooth and unblemished as an idealized Greek or Roman statue. Based on these and other Rice descriptions (particularly in ‘The Vampire Armand') I chose to present a Marius whose features hopefully reflect the wisdom of his preternatural knowledge and experience combined with the unique physical characteristics of his vampire nature which make him appear ageless.
Unfortunately, Marius as depicted by others in film and various visual mediums have served to distort the very distinct images of Marius that Rice herself offers us within the pages of the Vampire Chronicles.
